Compose png sequence (with alpha channel) with cg_element

Hi,
I am trying to compose a png sequence with CG background using Composure. But I find an interesting behavior of UE4.
First of all, the png sequence is generated by Daz3d. Daz3d already creates an alpha channel for each png file, so I thought it should be easy for me to get it to UE4 since no chrome key required.
But it seems the current media plate can’t handle the alpha channel. When I play the video in the media player, it shows the alpha channel, but when I add it to the media plate as a Media Texture Input, the alpha channel turns to black, so I can’t see the CG background.
If I take a single png file from the sequence and add it to the media plate as a Texture Input, the alpha channel works properly and I can see the CG background.
Is this by design? Is there a way to take advantage of an existing alpha channel in a png sequence, instead of using a chrome key?
Regards,
Peter
