components merging problem

I have problem to merge components. I have two components one is consist of aligned pictures (I have used GCP but in alignment report is written that the component is not georeferenced…) and second is consist of laser scans imported from e57 (in alignment report is written georeferenced = true). So both components are on the same place within the same coordinate system.
How could I merge them to process it further? I have tried to set alignment parameters (look at the picture) but it didn’t work…

Hi Grundmann
So in short you are getting bad alignment ( the re-projection error is high on CPs ) or you are not sure about proper orientation ( geo-referenced ) ?

And is it the reason why is the component considered as not georeferenced?

Can somebody answer this?
I just need to merge components to be able to process scan data and pictures together…

Hi Grundmann
If you use the GCPs and set the proper project COORDINATE SYSTEM, then you will get GEO-REFERENCED results, even though it does not give you this information when transferring it in COMPONENTS.

Well, in general, you have 2 options when you want to merge components: add more overlapping images or create (at least 3) control points in more images, which will create the missing links among the images. Then you realign the project. Repeat until you are satisfied with the result.
Try adding tie control points…
