World of Work is a Fortnite UEFN Experience where students learn about several career pathways, and how AI technologies are, or may, impact the world of work in the near future. They will learn about careers through mini-games, quests, and hunts in Fortnite! In this tutorial, I will show the thought process in the design decisions, and point to resources where I learned how to implement the various features of the island. This includes sequence animations, Verse programming, interactables, custom signage, Prefabs, Fab marketplace, and many other features that make the game both entertaining and a resource for career exploration. The tutorial is intended for educators who want to implement a similar type of island. This is not necessarily a playthrough for students on how to play and explore on the island.
