Make sure to review the Game Icon in your project or better still set it back to default.

Thank you so much it worked to reset it to default! Just wondering, but how could I do it while keeping the icon? Thanks again!

For me it was the “paperflip book widget” plug in. After disabling it, the error gone.

But it just doesn’t have the default option. How am I supposed to bring it back to default?

find the folder where the icon is stored at and delete it .
For me the filepath was Folder where I store projects/Projectname\Build\Windows

My mistake was that I didn’t have the latest version of visual studio installed.
Perhaps someone has the same problem, download visual studio 2022 or 2019, and select the additional material that you will be offered “Desktop development with C++”. This component contains the necessary tools for C++ development for Windows, including the compiler and libraries needed to work with the Unreal Engine.

For me it was that no folder can be named “Apple” in UE5. Not sure why that is reserved for the engine.

This fixed my error. It was still referring to an old build.

i was PackagingResults: Error: Unknown Error and ExitCode=1 (Error_Unknown) now i can fix because i just zip project in flash drive and extraction file to another pc (another pc is high spec and have more HDD space 1TB ) and next i package project by high spec pc and space that pakeage succeed

had same problem: AutomationTool exiting with ExitCode=6 (Error_Unknown)

solution for me was: update Visual Studio and desktop C components
PS: reboot system after update, just in case

For me it was that my Visual Studio was not update. I updated that and the error got resolved
