Hello!

Im using UE5.6 and in around the step 9 of the tutorial. For some reason all my Render Targets are still and not moving. Looking at the tutorial of JOUVERSE on YouTube, there’s a lot of people in the comments that are having the same issue, while being on 5.6

Could anyone please help? Im just learning so I don’t have knowledge to understand what solution could be, but makes me feel like its 1 little setting that I need to turn on or something

@Deathrey Would you possibly know how to resolve my issue?

When doing the set grids module setup I am running into the issue of UE unable to set external constant it seems this ability was removed in newer UE versions but I cannot for the life of me find another way around this. If anyone has had this issue and found a fix I would appreciate any advice.

I’m currently on UE5.7 and would like to know if there are any changes to the tutorial that should be mentioned as I am just getting completely black previews when trying to preview the grids in the Niagara Emitter. I have seen a few other people have similar issues but no solution has been provided that fixes it. Has anyone had similar issues? Thank you

Hello there, I have a question regarding shadows.

I have set up the Ocean Water and it works fantastic, but there is one thing that’s bothering me and even in the youtube tutorials it is not handled.

There are no shadows on the surface of the waves!

I have a ship sailing through the ocean, and it casts shadow. It is seen on any other plane, even one under the OceanWater waves, but the camera isn’t diving underwater, it is quite high above ground. How to make the shadows reflect upon the waves themselves?

Thank you

Some progress on my next update of the Planetary Oceans plugin (where I switched from Gerstner to FFT based on this tutorial).
