This video is the first in a series showing how to set up a non-standard joystick control in Unreal Engine 5, to work through the Raw Input and LiveLink plugins to provide live data in-editor for Virtual Production. This first video shows how to configure the plugins to read live data from the USB joystick directly in editor without needing to “Play” or “Simulate”.
The next video will show how to use this data to adjust a CineCameraActor.
