In this twist on a classic physics lab, students are challenged to use Fortnite Creative to measure the maximum speed of several in-game vehicles. Using a “Fortnite Photogate,” constructed with the race manager, students will precisely measure the time to travel 50 meters. In the process, students will determine whether the vehicle speedometers are accurate, what units they use to measure speed, and which vehicles in the game are the fastest.
