In this video I share how a three-dimensional version of Leonardo da Vinci’s squared circle was created by 3D Artist Pixel Urge using Blender, and how I animated this geometry using the default FK control rig. The default FK Control Rig can be used to animate any skeletal mesh that does not have a control rig.
I cover:
The construction process of the squared circle in Blender.
Scaling the geometry to the Metahuman.
Baking the skeletal mesh to the default FK Control Rig.
Using an additive layer to keyframe the animation.
Baking to an animation sequence.
