This article outlines the use of our procedural Roof Generator tool for asset creation in the short animated film “Lightfall”. The tool is now publicly available, complete with instructions and detailed documentation. In this article, we showcase how the Roof Generator was utilized to create intricate medieval-style roofs offering procedural adjustments for tile size, quantity, and various other parameters to enhance the complexity and variety of roof designs.
