Part 2 of a five-part series on Blueprint communication in Unreal Engine 5.
Part 1 reached an Actor from outside using the Level Blueprint. This tutorial moves the logic to where it usually belongs in a real project: directly between two Actor Blueprints, with no Level Blueprint involved at all.
We use Get Actor of Class to obtain a reference to another Actor from inside a Blueprint, then read and change variables on it. Along the way the focus stays on keeping each Blueprint responsible for its own behaviour rather than piling everything into one place.
By the end you will understand how Actor-to-Actor communication works, how to get a reference to another Actor, how to access and modify variables on another Blueprint, and how to keep your Blueprint logic separated and organised.
This is the most common way to make different Actors interact in Unreal Engine 5, and it is the foundation for the approaches covered in the rest of the series.
