Community Tutorial: Blender to Unreal for Static Meshes

This Unreal Engine 5.5 video is about importing a Static Mesh from Blender to Unreal.

We start by going over the steps to export a Static Mesh from Blender, to an .FBX file. We then Import that FBX to Unreal, and then Import the Textures, and update the Material to get it working. Next, we talk about the Simple Collision Mesh support, and how to improve it in Unreal, or in Blender. Lastly, we hook up an Emissive Texture to brighten things up a bit.

Note: UCX Meshes must not be hidden when exported.

Edit: Also Uncheck Recompute Normals (and maybe Tangents) if you want a Flat Shaded look.

So he failed to import the UCX mesh in this video.. just fyi. This will not show you how to import collision objects as he failed to do so.
