This Unreal Engine 5.3 Gameplay Ability System video is about adding Cooldown Gameplay Effects to the Player Power Gameplay Abilities.
We start by adding Gameplay Tags to the DefaultGameplayTags.ini file directly and then launch the Editor. In the Editor, we first Duplicate the Weapon Cooldown Gameplay Effect for the FireBall, changing the Duration type back to Scalable Float, and add the Asset Tag Component. Next, we add the Cooldown Gameplay Effects to all the Player Power Gameplay Abilities. Lastly, we create a Gameplay Tags Array that will be sent to the UI in the next video.
