This Unreal Engine 5.3 Gameplay Ability System video is about chaining our Laser Beam onto a few extra targets.
We start by creating an Actor to host the Laser Beam Niagara System, because Unreal doesn’t like Attaching Niagara Systems after they’ve been Spawned, and then we update the Laser Beam Gameplay Ability to Spawn a number of Laser Beam Niagara Systems, with the first attached to the Player as usual. The following Laser Beams are attached to a Chain of Enemies, with their visibility set based on whether they’re being used.
