This Unreal Engine 5.3 Gameplay Ability System video is about adding the Frosty Step Niagara System and Chilled Slow Effect.
We start by ensuring the Enemy Character’s Movement can be slowed by the Chilled Slow Effect previously created, and then Blue-ify our FireBall Explosion Niagara System. We then add the Chillsplosion Function to the Frosty Step Gameplay Ability, and call it at both the Actor Location and Teleport Destination to apply the Chilled Slow Effect. Lastly, we create a Gameplay Mod Magnitude Calculation (MMC) subclass to calculate and return the Inverse of Firing Rate for Duration.
