Community Tutorial: 18 - Fire Weapon Gameplay Ability, with more Cooldown - Let's Make a Tower Defense Game

This Unreal Engine 5.4 video is about building a Fire Weapon Gameplay Ability, that shoots out some Blam blam.

We start by creating the Fire Weapon Gameplay Ability, with a lot of rambling, and getting the Child Actor Weapon from the Child Actor Component. We then add the call to Try Activate Ability by Class, connected to the Fire Weapon Gameplay Ability. We then show the two steps needed to get a Cooldown Gameplay Effect working; Duration and Target (Owner) Tag.
