After many months of using Fortnite Communities there are a few key features that would make the experience a lot smoother for creators, which I will list below for future update consideration:
Scheduled Posts:
- Many times updates and content drops are planned out in-advance for maps. Being able to pre-schedule posts, as many other social platforms allow, would allow for developers to reach their communities as soon as an update releases.
Sort by Recent:
- When you have a lot of replies under a post, over 50 especially, it can be a pain to scroll all the way down past all of the previous replies and images to view the most relevant and recent replies. There should be an option at the top of the post to “sort by recent replies” to make communication a lot smoother and easier. Very similar to the “newest” sort in communities overall, but for each post.
Purge Option:

Recently, there have been many more spammers in communities, however when you ban them, all of their posts remain. There should be an option similar to Discord where if you ban a user, you have the option to purge delete all of their message history from the past 24 hours or few days. I’ve attached a screenshot of where this becomes a problem (as currently you have to click into each individual post to delete it). Adding a “keyword ban” may also be helpful in this situation as general words used in the hack like “referral” could be blocked from being sent.
