STORY:
On that fateful day in August 1982 when you awake in the African jungle, the demonic invasion began suddenly like a shock to your psyche. Is it real? Is it just your war Johnny? The demons are fierce, hateful and hungry. As your pulse starts racing in that fever dream state of mind you pull out your assault rifle and face your destiny carrying your family’s memory with you. This is Johnny’s war is there is no way but forward.

August 1982,
Johnny woke up that morning with the news, the morning after the disaster. Under the Texas night, his wife Susan and only son, John - only 4 years - old both killed when their truck hit the tree on the side of the road. Like a devil made of wood, it stopped Johnny’s heart in its track, his soul bleeding, and his faith barely holding. Johnny could see the branches ripping at his guts and stabbing his heart bare.
Like a devil made of wood, it reduced to dust Johnny’s dreams and hopes. His wife and only son, he and his wife had him later in life, all that Johnny had gone… A simple man with a humble life, he always wanted his father George’s admiration and he got it after he got back from Nam and when Susan, a woman he met later in life married him and young John was born, George looked at Johnny and said: “You have it made son!, whatever happened I’m proud of you my son!.”
George died shortly after, before young John could grow up… And now all had disappeared…
Tears of blood poured down Johnny’s face, a pain that could break all men on this Earth, even worse than Nam… Johnny had come back “to the world” years ago and “the world” took everything he had.
Johnny felt a sting, a fire consuming his body, a pain like his mind and body were melting. He laid down on his bed and closed his eyes… Hoping to never wake up. The family cat, a dark and affectionate one laid next to Johnny, the feline closed its eyes.

Johnny awakens in the jungle, wounded but enraged, the kind of rage men feel after being robbed of everything they have. His soul on fire BUT FEELING VERY STRONG AND READY TO FIGHT FOR WHAT HE HAD LEFT…
Johnny! Johnny! You are back in the jungle JOHNNY MAKE IT BACK TO THE CHOPPER! JOHNNY! WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU, GOD IS WITH YOU JOHNNY… The family cat wakes up near Johnny and like him, felt big, wild and powerful - READY TO FIGHT, READY TO PROTECT AT ALL COST…
Hey @leb78 Your pixel style is pretty cool so far. While keeping with that same style, adding more jungle details to the walls and in the environment like grass, dirt, or trees or even buildings might make the environment feel even more alive. Really excited to see where this goes!
Hi @leb78 I am really enjoying the progress that you have made on this, is feels fun, creative and it really stands out. The style choices give it a lot of personality. The cat attack power is hilarious, nothing says panic, like being aggressively attacked by a pixelated cat.
