What can be the problem? Do i have to add control points per scanpoint and picture?
The scans have 6 faces, per face 3 points, i was thinking to start with the frontscan
hello, do you mean that there is some misalignment? I would try to correct it with control points
It seems that both data has different scaling, did a test to give a distance between 2 points, still not possible te align.
We did some tests with some iphone pictures and 2 scans, works wel! But in this case it was a DJI Phantom 4.
Do i forget something?
I would try to use more control points, reasonably placed
I have placed 12 control points between scandata and pictures, is this not enough?
probably not because it has not worked yet but it is by far not just about their number (we cannot even say the more, the better here), they need to placed properly, I also believe that a project of such size can afford more control points though

I did some control points in the corners of both data, so it seems ready to align.
I define a distance because i see a difference in the scandata and the pictures data, they have difference dimensions.
Use the distance tool but doesn’t seem to work after “update” button. Do i something wrong or limitations of the demo version?
@Vincent: try adding more distance contraints and hitting the Align button instead of Update
7 distance contraints and still not possible, i did a test with the pictures alone and the correct distance is not possible when i hit update. Are there specific settings for scans and photo alignment?
New update, after changing some settings i get almost the final result, but one CP is changing from location, in the original scandata and pictures there are on the same location, strange

Well, it doesn’t work well, the scans are not aligned to the picture, have no idea what i’m doing wrong.
Did a new small test, 5 scans and 20 pictures with good overlap, took 3 to 4 cp in several images, still no link, is there someone who can help with this? at time we want to buy a license but if this basic stuff isn’t working, or i don’ t understand the software
I still thinking what can be the problem, we have this with 3 projects.

Still no succes, there is plenty of overlapping so it has to work somehow.
About components, are there good tutorials to combine them?
Gives it better result when you export a component and import again?
