In 4.10 with two lodGroups exported as one fbx file, when I import it into UE4 each lod level is imported as a separate uasset even though combine meshes has been selected.
This issue is currently backlogged and has since transitioned to our JIRA system with the reference number of UE-1088.
I’ve updated the ticket and bumped the community interest up.
