I have a blend space that contains the base animations for my character – namely running and walking. I also have a pair of animations which move the arms and head that needs to be added to the base animation. I’m having trouble getting this to work. In short, I need to add the offsets (relative to the rest pose) to the base movement animation. I can add one animation to the base, but things go badly when trying to add two animations to the base. I can’t seem to find the magic combination needed to make this work. Suggestions?
I’m no expert but have you tried “layered blend per bone” nodes in the animgraph of your characters animation blueprint? If not I’d go into the docs and have a look.
