I’m pretty new to Unreal Engine and animation in general. Was hoping someone could help me figure this out.
I’m trying to make some animated shorts using metahumans and i’d like to know if there’s a way to import an animation sequence from say Mixamo or Audio2Face and attach it to a Metahuman without having to delete the built in Metahuman control rig?
I’m trying to use an face animation of my character talking (created in Audio2Face) and all the tutorials say to delete the Metahuman face control rig first, then attach the imported Audio2Face animation sequence. The problem is i’d like to be able to have my character preform the imported sequence, then use the Metahuman control rig to control facial expressions after the sequence is done. Which i obviously can’t do when it’s deleted.
I’m hoping there’s a way to have both imported sequences and the metahuman control rig work in the same timeline (would like this ability for both the head and body).
Is this possible, any help would be much appreciated!
