Combine Animations


I just want to combine animations.
For example: I have a normal walking animation, but my character picked up a full bottle.
So he shouldn´t walk normal now. He should change the positioning of his arm to hold a bottle correctly.

Is there any solution to combine my normal walking animation with a holding animation from the hip upwards?

I hope somebody got an idea.


Bump. I have this same question. Is there any way to combine 1) a running animation with the legs with 2) a reload animation with arms in the same skeleton that have been animated separately?

Check out animation blending, it will help solve your problem.

You might use Layered Blend Poses Per Bone, which you can have two distinct animation process on your AnimBP and make them blend on specific bones (in your case, one layer for upper body to hold the bottle and another for the legs)
