Combat Text


I’m working on a 6v6 battle royal style rpg, and I’m stuck on trying to figure out a way to show damage status numbers like this example: Unreal Engine 4 Marketplace - Status Effects and Combat Text - YouTube. From what I understand, it creates a new User Widget for each number being shown, and in a fast past game, where there could be 1,000s of damage statuses needed to be shown, would this cause performance issues? If so, what would be an efficient way to go about this?
