Hi everyone! I try to paint static mesh but Mesh Painting tool doesn’t work at all.
Thirst of all, I have edited the base texture material:
The material of static mesh has next configuration:
Then using Mash Paint Mode I switch Paint Color to Black and Erase Color to White and paint:
But there is no effect after painting
I have already tried:
- Disallow nanite
- Change to high quality textures
- Press shift button during the painting (I use Mac OS so I’m not sure that the key button is the same)
- Reload UE5
- Reload Mesh Paint tool
- Press and UnPress Paint tool
- I have already check that static has UV
Two more things:
-Textures Painting works fine
-If I change GlowStreght to 1 (in base texture material) it becomes:
So I wonder what I did incorrect ? Why Painting doesn’t work ? Seems that it’s common bug with Mesh Painting but seems this is over case
