Color of material changed in Translucent blend mode.

Hello guys, I am trying to fing out the reason of color changing when blend mode of material is in ‘translucent’.

Below is the image of my setting, I need fade parameter so ‘masked’ blend mode can’t be my option.

originally my texture is light pink but when I set my blend mode to translucent, it changed to dark pink like brown. Funny thing is when I change my viewport to ‘unlit’, color looks same as original color.

Anyone got same issue or any solution for it?

Really depends what you want this material for.

You should try this:
(when you click big output node, you wil get propertiesx of that material)

  • make material unlit
  • make it two sided
  • try a bit of emmisive to lighten it
  • try modulate and additive modes.
  • maybe different shader model for whole project

Without more information about project, what you need it for etc. it is hard to guess.
I think it goes dark brown because it is lit and has shadows on it.
And pin descriptions in Chinese (guessing its Chinese) also do not help me here, as i do not remember exact order of them on output node.
