Collision Not Rotating with Door.

Hi, a random question for the community.

Open and Closing doors are relatively easy when you know how to use a simple timeline. I think we’ve all made a 1000’s doors that open and close in many different fashions.

However; today… I encounter a rather random bug… maybe…

Within one of my projects, suddenly without error message. Every single door within the project, the collision no longer moves with the door. The engine, I suppose is not registering that this door is moving.

Has anyone else encountered these issues? I myself am dumbfounded by this issue. I’m using 5.4.4 for this particular testing project. I can roll back to a version that this error does not exist. But I’m really curious if anyone has even encounters this before and if there was a resolution to it.

ANYWAYS… Have a great day!

I think you might find that you’ve suddenly decided to check this while the player is moving?

If the player is standing still the collision works, if the player is moving, the collision does sort of work, but not very well.

Is there an easy answer? Not that I’m aware of.

If you can be bothered, you can write the door so that it stops when it hits the player.

I did check that out.

But it is definitely the collision that isn’t moving when the door is/has moved. I would typically write it off and just rebuild. But… Apparently, whatever went sideways with this project effected all doors, of all types and meshes. Which is why I rolled back a version, I still have a copy of this project because it is such a bewildering issue and nothing, I can turn up resolves it. I’m wondering if it is a bug with 5.4.4 that suddenly stops collisions moving with objects.
