Hello everyone,
I have the next setup: a scene component as root and inside of it a static mesh, please look at the picture: this timeline controls a smasher, think the thwomps of super mario bros, I want to be able to rotate them and that they keep their behaviour as if they were vertical, When I rotate the element, the mesh now moves as I want it, but the collision keeps happening as if the actor was vertical.
I hope this is clear enough, thanks for the help, english is not my main language.
pd: the collision I am using and the only one that works well is use simple as complex.
same version as you 4.7.4, I have in the mesh a box simplified collision, and have checked use simple as complex, hopefully the video shows what the problem is, when I rotate the actor, the mesh moves along the rotated axis, but the collision box, remains vertical, synchronized with the mesh in time but not in position.
I adjusted my setup to match yours but the collision still stays with the moving mesh when it’s rotated. Would you mind uploading the .uasset with the issue and any other files it depends on to work?
You can also send this in a private message over the forums if you are more comfortable with that.
