Collision issues in 4.9 and 4.10

I have moving platforms and in 4.9 and 4.10 the PC does not stay on top of the static mesh when it moves up but instead intersects. This causes a problem especially near the edge as it will fall through the platform mesh. I have tried changing the platform mesh, adding new collision to the platform mesh, moving the skeletal mesh higher in the capsule. Works fine in 4.8. Has anyone encountered this issue or know of a fix?
