Collision detection using shaders?

Collision detection using shaders?

Or shader collision. Runtime collision detection between shaders marked with collision flags. This is possible in Unreal 4?
It is only an idea I had when I was trying to create the collision for a spline tube to be able to walk inside it.

If I’m out of the loop and this is already implemented in Unreal Engine 4 or is there any technical limitation, then skip
