Collision creation issue when using Blender

Hi,

So i’m new to bother unreal engine 4 and blender, i have experience in Maya, 3DS and UDK however.

I’m attmepting, to give an object my own collision, as Unreal automatic ones, whilst good, arent what I want. To do this I followed this tutotarial

My issue comes into when I import it into Unreal, the collision box, as best as I can describe it, appears to either blow up massively, or invert.

My example i’ve been working on is a basic chair i’ve made.

So i follow the second method in the video tutorial and I end up with this, I’m trying to keep it as simple as possible whilst remaining as true as possible to the shape

Then I import into Unreal and check the collision, and this comes out:

So, if someone can give me a clue as to what I’m doing wrong, I would be greatful

Using two collision boxes instead of one could solve your problem  -> use the first method instead of the 2nd one Also make sure that you have disabled “use one convex…” in the import settings
