Where has the ‘collapse by material’ gone in the import settings?

I use this option every time and now my imports are losing materials and not being broken down into the layers that prefer to use for a large model.

We have the same problem.
The ‘Collapse by Material’ function is essential for the workflow.

That’s why I’m still working with the 2025 version. Which is really a shame!

Please bring the function back in the import feature!
