Collaboration with composers in Unreal Engine Marketplace

I’m planning to write music for Unreal Marketplace. Can you please tell me if I want to release music which will be written not only by me, but also by someone else, i.e. if it will be a collaboration, can I independently agree with a co-author to release such a product from my account?

Or do I need to take additional steps to release such a product?

It’s up to you - a lawyer would recommend you write up and sign a document - that would cover anything - but would probably cost more than you’ll earn in a while.

If you have a reasonable level of trust in each other, you could do it with a simple email as the “Statement of Intent”.
