Hello,
I’m working on Underworld, an independent MMORPG project designed with a long-term mindset and a strong focus on gameplay consequences and systemic coherence.
This is not a prototype, demo, or short-term experiment.
It’s a project being built slowly and intentionally.
Project overview
Underworld takes place entirely underground.
There is:
-
No overworld
-
No open sky
-
No comfort-driven safe zones
The world consists only of:
-
Caverns
-
Dungeons
-
Buried settlements
-
Hostile environments
Design principles:
-
Player decisions matter
-
Death has real impact
-
No infinite reset systems
-
No “grind without risk”
-
Systems designed first, balance later
The goal is to build a world that feels persistent and dangerous, not disposable.
Role: Community Manager / Communication
I’m currently looking for a Community Manager to join the project.
This role is not about marketing hype.
Responsibilities include:
-
Building and organizing the community (Discord, forums, dev updates)
-
Communicating the project vision clearly and honestly
-
Gathering and structuring player feedback
-
Helping define early community culture
-
Acting as a communication bridge between players and development
Experience with MMOs or online communities is a plus,
but consistency and long-term commitment matter more.
Project scope
-
Independent / collaboration-based
-
Long-term development
-
No artificial deadlines
-
No launch-day hype strategy
-
Focus on sustainable development
This project is meant for people who understand that MMORPGs are marathons, not sprints.
Important note
This is not a paid position at this stage and not a short-term collaboration.
If you are looking for:
-
Fast results
-
Quick monetization
-
A project that will “launch soon”
This is not a good fit.

Final thoughts
Underworld is being built with patience, discipline, and respect for MMO design.
If you’re tired of disposable projects and want to help shape something meant to last,
I’d be glad to talk.
