I’m Pan from SoundFellas. I’m currently producing a series of high-quality showreels for our website to demonstrate specific audio services we offer for game audio.
Since most of my past projects are outdated visually and my services use far more advanced techniques than older projects would showcase, I’m looking to collaborate with developers, artists, and creators by exchanging fresh original footage for 3 of our professional sound libraries given for free for commercial use.
What I’m looking for is in-game, isolated animated, or cinematic footage suitable for sound design demos.
Examples:
- Vehicles, weapon systems, machinery in various changing states (if state changed are also included even better - more sound design potential).
- Monsters / creatures (non-talking; vocalizations OK), any type of animation, action, even robots, sci-fi, whatever.
- Action scenes (combat, impacts, destruction), if they have good pacing and things are unfolding nicely those have good potential.
- Platformers and casual games, puzzles, still have good sound design potential if things are happening, interactions have animations, states changing, etc.
- Environments with life and dynamics (mechanical, geosphere and biosphere animations, particles, movement, systems).
- Magic, VFX-heavy scenes, particles systems, etc. Especially if they feature different states, i.e. a magic spell from spawning to loading, launching, etc.
- UI interaction sequences (multi-step interactions preferred).
If you want to get an idea of the demos I’m creating you can see my micro-services catalog here: Game Audio | Services - SoundFellas
What I’m NOT looking for:
- Dialogue-driven scenes (talking, shouting characters).
- Copyrighted/IP-restricted content you don’t own.
- Low-quality or heavily compressed footage.
- Static or uneventful scenes with little sound design potential.
Technical requirements:
- Resolution: 2K or 4K.
- Frame rate: 30fps or 60fps (if possible 60fps is preferred but not a hard rule).
- Codec: H.264 / H.265 or similar standard formats. I can work with those when they have good fidelity, no need to send me ProRes or other production formats.
- Quality: High bitrate / no need to go overboard, just minimal compression artifacts.
- Clean output (no overlays, watermarks, UI unless relevant to the demo or main part of the action).
How the exchange works:
- Go to the SoundFellas customer portal here: SoundFellas Customer Support - Submit a ticket
- Create a support ticket with:
- Short description of your footage
- A link to the cloud service that contains the footage file(s) - please don’t use my portal’s upload file link, it works only for very small files.
- The title for the project, this will be displayed on the final video.
- Your name, studio name, brand, handle for the credits, those will be displayed in the final video below the title of your project.
- Your project’s status if you want it displayed: “Tech Demo”, “Work in Progress”, or “Finished Project”.
- Which 3 libraries you would like to receive from our complete catalog here: Sound Libraries | - SoundFellas
I review your submission based on:
- Visual clarity.
- Sound design potential.
- Technical quality.
If approved:
- I contact you directly.
- You receive a coupon for 3 sound libraries of your choosing, you get them completely for free, you can use them commercially as if you bought them (common license terms apply like in any other library).
- Your work is used in my showreels with full visible credit.
If not approved:
- You still get a response from me, so you know.
- Your files are deleted immediately, no usage, no retention (no risk of misuse).
Legal / usage terms:
- You must own the rights to the footage. No IP you don’t own should appear in the footage in any way.
- By submitting (and if approved), you grant me a non-exclusive license to use the footage in my marketing (videos, website, social media), always with credit.
- You retain full ownership of your work, of course.
- Proper credit will always be included in the final video.
- I will never use or share your footage for anything else than making my demo/showreels for the services. Just to be clear because we live in dangerous times, I will not use them in AI systems to change them, or to train AI systems. I have total respect for creative work, I’m a creator all my life.
Why this can be useful for you:
- The practical return of your investment is that you receive 3 commercial-grade SoundFellas sound libraries for free.
- Your work gets featured and credited in professional sound design content, maybe that’s good for your brand awareness efforts. By the way, you can share my final videos also, for your own promotional efforts. I’ll send you a high quality copy.
- Exposure to a targeted audience (developers, audio professionals, creators).
If you’re interested, feel free to submit through the portal and I’ll review it right away. I usually respond within 1-2 business days.
If something is unclear, ask in the thread.
Looking forward to seeing what I’ll get ![]()
