[COLLABORATION] Looking for 3D Artist – Commercial Combat/Parkour Game

I’m a Quebec-based game designer / level designer currently developing a Combat Parkour game in Unreal Engine 5, and I’m looking for a 3D artist who is interested in joining the project and helping establish its visual identity.

This isn’t just an idea or a GDD. The game already has a playable prototype with the core gameplay being actively developed.

About the game

Combat Parkour is a fast-paced action game focused on combining melee combat and parkour/movement.

The current prototype includes:

  • Fast-paced melee combat and combo chains
  • Dodge and attack cancels
  • Counter attacks
  • Parkour / traversal mechanics
  • Sprinting, sliding, wall jumping and ledge grabbing
  • Enemy AI with melee and ranged enemies
  • Combat and traversal integrated into level design
  • A playable level designed around these systems

The goal is to develop this into a commercial game, starting with a polished vertical slice and eventually pursuing funding and/or publishing opportunities.

Who I’m looking for

I’m looking for a 3D artist interested in helping create the game’s visual identity rather than simply producing a few disconnected assets.

Depending on your strengths, this could include:

  • Environment / modular assets
  • Props
  • Characters / enemies
  • Materials
  • General 3D asset creation
  • Helping establish a cohesive visual style

You don’t need to be able to do everything. I’m more interested in finding someone whose artistic style fits the direction we can develop together.

I’m specifically interested in creating a visual identity that feels original and cohesive, rather than building the entire game from generic Marketplace assets.

About the project

The current development is being done independently, with the intention of turning the project into a commercial release.

The immediate goal is:

Prototype → Visual Direction → Vertical Slice → Funding / Publishing → Full Production

Potential funding paths could include crowdfunding, publishing, grants, or other financing depending on how the project develops.

I’m not promising a financial return that doesn’t exist yet. If we decide to work together, the collaboration terms, ownership/IP, credits, and future compensation or revenue-sharing would be discussed and agreed upon before production work begins.

About me

I’m a Game Design / Level Design graduate with several years of Unreal Engine 5 experience.

My main areas are:

Gameplay • Combat Design • Level Design • Blueprint Development • Game Design

I’m currently handling the gameplay systems, combat, AI, level design, Blueprint implementation and overall direction of the project.

I’m also actively building my professional experience through other game development work, while continuing to develop Combat Parkour as my own commercial project.

What I’m looking for

I’m looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys 3D game art
  • Wants to contribute creatively to a project
  • Is interested in action games / parkour / combat
  • Is comfortable with indie-scale development
  • Wants to potentially grow with the project rather than simply complete a one-off asset

If you’re interested, send me a DM with your portfolio and a little information about yourself and what you’d like to contribute.
