I am graduating college in the fall. After ten years of school I am not interested in going to get a masters or work on a CS degree. Is there anyway to get a CS BS equivlant or coding certs that are similar to a BS?
also I am looking for 3D Desgin certs as well
So I take it that there are no BS eqivalant certs in programming or 3D desgin?
The only thing equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree is a Bachelor’s degree.

my goal is to eventually open a contracting business and do 3D models for studios. and one day publish a PC game on steam. I will have a history degree in december which will be 10 full years in college.
The value of a degree is what it is because you have to invest time into it. There are no shortcuts.
Certification isn’t really a thing in the games industry - but also, why would you want coding certs if you intend to do 3D modelling?
The entire story is that I got rejected out of nursing school and then was told I could not do most careers execpt except for work at home careers. This notifcation is because of a rare autoimmune disorder where my immune system attacks my entire body from my skin to my interal organs to my bones. Technicaly I am disabled and cannot get a traditional 9-5 job. So I was shoehorned into a history degree by my fathers refusal to pay for a cs degree because of my credit hours. I would have to restart for a cs degree but I would only have 60 hours if I choose history. I guess I am looking for a career I cand do from anywhere like a coffee shop or my home but also don’t have to have a STEM degree to get a good living wage. And yes I have a passion for gamming and building stuff. I have always been a builder. It has been a dream to build something from the ground up.
what kind of things do they look for in a portfoilo? Right now I am posting screen shots of my mod and 3D art progress on soical media. I also have a wix account but no domaine name. I don’t really want to pay for a website yet. Also I have a youtube account with XSplit Gamecaster free as a my capture software.
Also I have been working with Unreal Engine for almost a year and Unity 3D for almost 3 years.

you might check out some online courses at Coursera, if you don’t want to apply to college but need some kind of guidance anyway. though i believe nowadays it’s more about your portfolio and practical skills than some certificates
