Hi there,
the new auto coded marker detect option is great.
But is it possible to use these points quickly for world alignment (groundPlane + scale)?
cheers,
Vincent

Hello Vincent,
you can define distance between control points using ‘Define distance’ button in the Alignment tab and change the ground plane orientation using the ‘Define ground plane’ button in the Reconstruction tab.
Or if you wish to geo-reference your scene, you can change the type of detected control points to Ground control and assign them proper coordinates. You can choose the world coordinate system from the list of coordinate systems or define your own coordinate system using local:1 - Euclidean.
You can find more information in the Help - Scale the Scene.
is it possible to tell a Ground Control point just one value of the 3 position values? so that if I tell 3 Groundpoints that they are on 0 height level the scene could be alignt.
the other axis values would be calculated automatically then.
Once you place the control point and change it to ground control, you can see its actual position. You can use those values when setting the position of the GCP.
