Every time I run the game, it crashes on startup before title screen with this error. I’ve tried for days to fix it, even completely reinstalling the game as a whole to start fresh but the same issue occurs. I noticed another had posted the same problem but was quickly locked, and I refuse to let you shut this down without a solution. Since checking “I agree to be contacted by Epic Games via email” has not prompted a response in days, this is my next step. Either work to solve this problem that is preventing my use of what was bought or I continue to escalate as far as necessary.
It got locked because its AnwserHub dedicated to UE4 game development not UE4 published game support. It is responciblity of game developer and publisher to provide you support. No to mention not even epic have idea how they setup there UE4 project
Contact the developer you are in the wrong section
Oh, Bandai Namco makes Unreal Engine? Their Crash Reporter instructed me to bring the matter here? I wasn’t aware of that.
I’ll just contact them only to be brought back here. I’m off to waste half the day on that useless exchange.
Unreal engine did not make the game my dude. And the answer hub is for developers using unreal to help each other and not epic support. I know you are frustrated but we are only trying to help you not waste your time in this section. No one will have an answer for you here.
Given it was a UE crash with directions here, I am all but certain the developer route would’ve used that to deflect having to assist. Seemed logical to follow this route and exhaust it as an option to either resolve the issue or have proof that it wouldn’t be resolved here.
