Swords Evolution & Fusion | 1,000 RPG Icons

Build sword progressions that players can read at a glance.

Swords Evolution & Fusion brings 1,000 illustrated sword icons to loot tables, incremental upgrades, roguelike reward screens, crafting menus and elemental fusion systems. Ten recognizable sword types share one fantasy art direction, with five visual stages along every progression path.

TEN SWORD TYPES

Longsword · Greatsword · Katana · Rapier · Scimitar · Sabre · Gladius · Falchion · Flamberge · Estoc

Each type has its own blade and hilt identity: curved single-edged katanas, slender rapiers, broad greatswords, short gladii, heavy falchions and wave-bladed flamberges. The collection keeps those identities visible as materials, guards, blade construction and elemental features develop.

1,000 DESIGNS, ORGANIZED AS PROGRESSION PATHS

10 sword types × 20 paths × 5 visual stages = 1,000 unique designs.

That gives you 200 five-stage visual chains, with 100 icons for each sword type.

Every sword type includes:

• One Neutral path.

• Seven elemental paths: Nature, Earth, Fire, Water, Frost, Lightning and Shadow.

• Twelve named fusion paths that combine two elemental identities.

• Five stages per path, numbered T1–T5.

T1–T5 describe the visual stage within a path. You can assign your own rarity names, item levels, drop rates and game balance.

FUSIONS WITH A VISIBLE LINEAGE

Nature + Earth → Rootstone: living roots support a mineral blade.

Fire + Earth → Magma: dark volcanic stone surrounds a molten core.

Nature + Water → Bloomtide: aqua crystal meets organic growth.

Nature + Fire → Ashthorn: charred thornwood carries an ember heart.

Water + Earth → Tidalstone: water-glass channels run through stone.

The other seven fusion paths are:

Lightning + Water → Stormglass

Frost + Nature → Frostroot

Frost + Earth → Permafrost

Shadow + Earth → Obsidian Night

Fire + Lightning → Emberstorm

Shadow + Nature → Voidbloom

Shadow + Fire → Eclipse

All twelve fusion paths exist for every sword type. The included maps and recipe data document the exact relationships.

ARTWORK AND STRUCTURED DATA

• 1,000 unique static sword designs on transparent backgrounds.

• Individual PNG files at 256 × 256, 512 × 512 and 1024 × 1024: 3,000 PNG exports.

• Unity 6 package with configured 512 px sprites and an organized asset structure.

• Unreal Engine 5.8 content-only project with configured 512 px UI textures.

• Stable item IDs shared by filenames, the asset index and recipe data.

• Asset catalogs in CSV and JSON.

• 990 editable relationships in CSV and JSON: 800 upgrades, 70 elemental transformations and 120 fusion recipes.

• Human-readable evolution maps for each sword type.

• Documented Unity, Unreal and engine-independent integration examples.

HOW TO USE THE DATA

Open Metadata/asset_index.csv to browse the sword type, path, stage and PNG references. Read Metadata/assets.json when you want the same catalog in code.

A fusion recipe can reference two input IDs:

SW_LONGSWORD_NATURE_T3 + SW_LONGSWORD_EARTH_T3

and return:

SW_LONGSWORD_ROOTSTONE_T1

Your game checks the inputs, applies its own inventory and cost rules, then displays the artwork associated with the output ID. Later upgrades follow the same path to T2, T3, T4 and T5. The documentation explains the schema and shows how to look up the matching sprite or texture.

The supplied recipe graph is a starting point. Resource costs, rarity labels, stats and combat behavior remain under your control.

DELIVERY AND SCOPE

The engine packages contain the configured artwork. The CSV/JSON, maps and integration documentation accompany the asset release. Check the file guide for the matching engine archive and the complete PNG/data download.

These are static 2D inventory icons. The preview video demonstrates icon scrolling and stage transitions. The collection does not include 3D weapons, character combat sprites, animated attack effects or a complete gameplay framework. UI layouts shown in promotional mockups illustrate possible uses.

Resolution variants represent the same 1,000 designs and are not counted as additional unique icons.
