Cloth not simulating in Level Sequence

Hi Community! I encountered a problem when using the level sequencer & wasn’t able to find a solution. But hopefully someone with more insight can help me out!

The status: My character’s cloth is simulating when I’m putting him into the level (with animations) and the cloth is also simulating correctly in the Skeletal Mesh editor (or physics assets/skeleton editor). But as soon I’m using him in my sequence the cloth is not simulating anymore (no simulation at all). I checked if I forgot some settings, like activating simulate physics in scene (sequencer) and other solutions I found on the forum. Nothing helped so far.
But what I found is, that my cloth is simulating correctly as soon as I reassign the clothing data to the material of my cloth while the sequencer is running. As soon as I close the sequence and start open it again, I’m back with no cloth simulation. I would need to open my character editor again (while the sequencer is running), reassign the cloth data again to have my cloth simulate at all.
Another problem that I encountered is: when I try to render the sequence, it is simulating my cloth, but not correct (it seems to be clogging, but at least there is some simulation).

Slowly I’m going insane… I hope someone can help me!

In play modes - select simulate (or Alt S) and then play sequence. Hopefully this will now work.

Thanks!! That rly worked!
The cloth simulation is still far off from the character I put into the level (not per sequencer - where it simulate as it should), but atleast it is simulating now
