Cloth and Hair using Rigging toolkit

I’m rigging a female character who wears a skirt and has long hair. I would like to know if it’s possible to add dynamic cloth to the skirt and hair dynamics
to the final Rig that one gets using the Animation and Rigging toolkit. I’m using the rigging toolkit because I find the rigging process very fast and useful and the final Rig you get is pretty good.

The problem is that I don’t know how to add these properties (cloth and hair) to the rig . Also I’m not sure if these properties are to be applied inside the Unreal Engine 4
using a specyfic material on these parts of the mesh.

This is the first time I rig for a game, not for animation though but I’m not very experienced. If anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

You could use nvidia apex for the cloth part

Could the same method be applied to hair too?

I think it should be possible to apply this to hair too, but I havent tried it out yet, so I dont know if you will get a good result

Ok Thanks! I’ll take a look at it

hey guys,

i thought about the same i tried it out a while ago. It worked semi good ^^. Expect that the hair didn’t fall so well, i got black stripes in the middle or the hair and i can’t figure really out a reason why. The uv’s are allright, normal too and so on.
So would be interessting to hear, if someone else tried this out too.

Could you probably post a video or picture of those black stripes?
