Cloth and feather help

Hi there!

Im working on this character and I’m running into 2 main issues.

  1. The cloth seems to be colliding well with the character, but not with itself, although I have turned on all self collision settings. Could it be that there is more than 1 mesh in the cloth asset, or could it be that they don’t have thickness?

  2. The other issue is that Im trying to add dynamics to the feather plume on his helmet, but when I tried using the same cloth set up, everything fell apart because its all card based and not attached. I’ve added the material based wind effect here, but it looks so unnatural compared to the cloth.

Any advice on resolving the collisions, or suggestions on what method to use with the plume would be greatly appreciated!
