Closing profilegpu window in linux crashes editor

I’m using Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS.

Simply running profilegpu from the unreal console and then closing the profile window crashes the editor. Crash dump seems to indicate some shared pointer stuff.

Thanks for the report. I was able to reproduce the crash and have submitted a bug report (UE-22467) for further investigation.


I just ran into this too and came here to post my own report when I found this one. : here’s some additional data I collected, in case it should be helpful. Attached is file containing a call stack, c++, and , and register contents when the crash happens. The stack on crashing seems consistent from run to run.

On the plus side, the ProfileGPU feature works great as long as you don’t try to close it :P. It’s a rather impressive feature.
