I have scanned a boat that has a hull. The hull has many holes that I can’t close. I have tried to rescan the boat with a 24MP DLSR but that resulted in more holes than the phone.
I have increased the max hole count to 1000000 but that has had no effect.
Where do I start to get this model better? the pictures clary show there is a surface.

as it seems like they are featureless areas it produces those holes. It could be captured also with images with some texture placed over those areas. You can also try to select those holes parts and filter them and then use Close holes tools (as these holes could be consider as not holes, as there weren’t features to create the surface.
