Making a menu for a game. If I make the text in 3D Studio and import it into my menu blueprint I can setup a click event to control menu events. If I try to use text renders or boxes in the “add components” section of the blueprint (top left menu in the blueprint) I can get them to show up, but I can’t get the functionality. I can select can even add onClicked events, write up a little script in the graph to handle it, but it is as if program is not listening to these inputs on these objects when I play the game.
I bring in the starter content demo chair into this blueprint and add a onClicked for that and it functions as expected, so I think I am just missing something real basic I have to enable that treats text renders / boxes as static meshes for interactivity?
Can someone help?
