Classification of Mesh

Hi Community,

Im having great issues with classifying my mesh. I have segmented the exterior of a building, masks for windows, doors, walls, roofs of a building. I have also Succesfully made it so RealityScan classified these masks and I can see the colours of my masks on my Mesh, each for each class.

However when I export the file, and use it in my webapplication to filter the viewer to show these Vertex colours, nothing shows, there seems to be a loss of data stored in the mesh files and mixed with the texture colour data. Where is the metadata inside the GLB? Am I doing something wrong with my exports? Am I missing a step here?

Thank you

Hi @Yellowmonkeyboys

Can you try to open the exported model in 3D Viewer if the colors are there? The classified mesh is only colorized so probably not all 3D viewers show such colors. Have you tried also different formats? I’ve used FBX and checked it in CloudCompare and the colors were shown.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply Otrhan. Yes that works but I cant find any metadata or anyway to sort out these classes afterwards, its like these classifications are imbedded in the normal texture maps of the GLB file, am I wrong here?

I suppose there aren’t any metadata, only the colors.
