Clarification on Publishing a Free Project with Fab Store Assets

Hello,

We’re using a few free assets from the Fab Store in our simple project, and we need to confirm whether we’re allowed to publish it on the Google Play Store. The project itself will be free to download.

We’re using 3/4 assets from multiple developers and none from EPIC games.

Would really appreciate your response. Thanks in advance!

Best.

Yes you can publish your game with your free asset.

What is not allowed is reselling of asset in a standalone version, for example you purchase a free tree pack on fab and then make a commercial product which contains only that tree pack.

Also make sure these free assets don’t have copyright issues or stolen assets.
If there are asset mark as NoAI, your software can’t be part of generative ai features.

Thanks for getting back to us @Arodi007 And can we publish it on the Google Play Store?

Yup and just make sure to double check those mentioned above.

Yup, nice.
I had a look at the link (thanks for that). I guess the following is the bit that matters

Section 4c
Subject to any applicable restrictions in Section 6 (Content Use Restrictions), you may Distribute a Project that incorporates Content as an included dependency to end users. When you make such a Distribution, you may, however, only authorize end users to make use of Content solely as incorporated in the Project in object code and you must restrict end users from extracting or otherwise using Content outside of the Project.
