Dear Epic Games Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to clarify the licensing terms regarding the use of free assets provided through the Unreal Engine Marketplace’s monthly giveaways.
I am currently working on a visual novel project that is being developed using a different game engine. I would like to know if it is permissible to do the following:
Use Unreal Engine 5 to assemble scenes using the free assets I have obtained through the Marketplace monthly giveaways.
Render these scenes as high-quality images or screenshots within Unreal Engine.
Incorporate these rendered images into my visual novel, which runs on another game engine.
To clarify, I do not intend to use the assets themselves in any other engine or software. My goal is solely to use Unreal Engine to create visually compelling environments and then utilize rendered outputs (images) as part of the storytelling visuals in my game.
I understand that assets provided by Quixel or Epic Games may have additional restrictions. If there are specific limitations or requirements for using such assets in this manner, please let me know.
Additionally, I want to ensure that this approach aligns with your licensing agreements and does not violate any terms or conditions set by Epic Games or the creators of the assets.
Thank you for taking the time to review my inquiry. I appreciate any clarification or guidance you can provide.
Looking forward to your response.
