Clarification on how to make Total Conversions not upload a new mod ID every time?

Do you edit the original PrimalGameData?

Or do you create one in a new “mod” folder and put a PrimalGameData in that folder?

Or…?

I edited the original, and now every time I cook the total conversion and upload to steam, it’s creating a new Mod with a new ModID.

I’m pretty certain this isn’t intended behavior. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Create a new “mod” folder and create a child of the original primalgamedata BP inside the new mod folder. Whenever you cook TC just cook that folder. Thats what I’ve done and it works fine. :slight_smile:
