cinematic visuals with ElectricDreams

Hi there @deerdance,

Welcome to the Unreal Engine forums! It’s Epic to have you here

First, just want to say how stunning this project is. The warm glowy colors, the sea creatures creating a dreamy and charming scene, and the foliage filled environment have resulted in a truly beautiful visual. How long did it take you to create this scene? And how long have you been using Unreal?

Thanks a lot @PresumptivePanda.
Glad to be here :slightly_smiling_face:

It took me 2 weeks to create the whole animation. Wanted to create something different with it.
I’m using Unreal now a bit more than a year. To have it in my workflow is really game-changing.
Could not even imagine rendering something like this before
I’m using Unreals Path Tracing as well a lot, but even there it’s so much helpful to have realtime rendering in the workflow.

It turned out wonderfully for just two weeks of work. Lots of talent went into it for sure  Do you plan on creating more projects similar to this one?

Brilliant! Thank you, @deerdance, for sharing such a unique and beautiful cinematic visual with us in the forums, and welcome to the UE community.

Your hard work and dedication are truly remarkable, especially considering that you managed to complete this project within a short span of two weeks. I’m happy you’ll be creating similar projects to this one, and I can’t wait to see how they turn out. :raised_hands:

Hey there @deerdance ! Welcome to the UE forums here with us!

The scenery you’ve created is absolutely beautiful! I think about the creatures from the ocean swimming through the trees like this often so seeing it visualized in such a way is so exciting. It’s like you read my mind almost, haha! You have a true talent for creating these mystical scenes that hold an element of wonder! Please keep up the good work and I hope we can see more of your fine art again! :star_struck:

Haha, I had the idea in mind as well for a long time. When I saw the Electric Dreams enviroment the first time it was clear I wanna create this with it

Hey @deerdance !

I think it’s amazing that you have such an imagination to see something and already have an idea for it. Again, it makes me excited to see what else you can do! Are there any other current projects you’re working on?

Hey Jonas, I’m kind of new to UE and I would like to know where did you start learning UE ? Did you learn on youtube or did you watch some masterclass ? Thanks !

Hey @SuningSunday I’ve mostly learned from youtube. The content of William Faucher, pwnisher and Winbush is really helpful. I’ve also tried to create something own as early as possible, to research solutions in the process.
